i can't wait for thanksgiving dinner! can you? so here's the first matter of business for today. i carry around these little moleskin notebooks, they're kinda brown, and i lost one. i always write my name on the cover or front page, and in one of the corners there's a little number for chronological purposes. i basically keep them to write down good ideas for all sorts of things, or if i come upon some revelation. the one i lost is my first one - and it's about 3/4 of the way full. i think the last completed page says "giraffe dachsund" and has some diagrams i drew beneath it of some weenie dogs with giraffe spots. if you find this it is mine and you should send it my way. here are possible places where it could be: my room laura's room actually my house in general sharlee's place paul/brine's place your car? laura green's/essex apts in general umm sarah mcwhorter's car/the gately lakehouse? chicago in general well okay it's been awhile and i guess it could be anywhere. this helped last time though when i lost my favorite sweater! so brine, maybe it's in your back seat again, who knows. this leads into my second thought for today: one of my favorite scenes from a peanuts movie is in "A Boy Named Charlie Brown." It's when Linus gave Charlie his blanket for good luck in the spelling bee, but then goes to NY with snoopy to get it back. there's the scene where he's finally given up and is sitting in Charlie's room, totally succumbed with withdrawal, and then discovers charlie nonchalantly shining his shoes with it. that's all, did you guys like those comics i used to put in here? or do you have a favorite peanuts moment?
